Haiphong Railway Station
The city of Haiphong is located on the Red River Delta in northern Vietnam. It is the third largest city in Vietnam (next to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City), as well as the second largest industrial center in northern Vietnam.
As the largest seaport in northern Vietnam, Haiphong plays an important role in Vietnam’s transportation. It is also well connected to popular tourist attractions, Cat Ba Island and Ha Long Bay.

Haiphong Railway Station is the main station serving the city. It is one of the stations in Vietnam that retains French architectural style.
Haiphong is at the end of the Hanoi–Haiphong line. This 102-kilometer-long (63-mile-long) line was built by the French from 1901 to 1902. There are 4 daily trains between Hanoi and Haiphong, each taking approximately 2.5 hours.
