Futian Station is an underground railway station spanning three levels, employing an approach of entrance from above and exit below. The station's front square (South Square) is situated on the east side, with a skyline dominated by dense high-rise structures above ground.

Basement Level 1

This level serves as the transportation interchange zone, featuring a total of 16 passenger entrances and exits. The north end connects to an underground garage linked with office building basements, while the southern segment interfaces with Shenzhen Metro Line 1 through a corridor, flanked by integrated shops and some auxiliary station facilities.

The central portion comprises the transportation exchange hall, interlinked with Shenzhen Metro Lines 2, 3, 11, and an underground commercial street. To the east, it connects to a sunken bus station and taxi stand, facilitating seamless transfers between taxis, buses, and the subway. The concourse is equipped with restrooms, water rooms, and ticket counters, with five escalators leading to the underground second level waiting area. The ticketing zone houses 11 manned service windows, with 7 at the south end and 4 at the north end.

Basement Level 2

This level functions as the waiting hall area, with a northern underground garage. The equipment area is divided into southern and northern sections, with the passenger service office situated near the equipment zone's southern end.

A VIP waiting room and a dedicated passage intersect a subway line at right angles to the station within the northern equipment area. The central section houses the entrance hall, delineated by railings and security gates into paid and unpaid zones, complemented by a small item storage facility. Restrooms and water rooms are dispersed throughout the concourse. The waiting area accommodates 1200 seats, with accessible elevators leading to the platform level. There are 12 registered verification gates at both the southern and northern ends, along with 8 entry inspection gates in the central section.
