Itinerary Details

9 AM - 10 AM

Your private guide will be waiting for you at your designated hotel to start this unique trip. Along the way, the guide will share some interesting anecdotes about the life of Emperor Qin Shi Huang and the discovery process of the Terracotta Warriors, building anticipation for the upcoming itinerary. The estimated travel time is about 1 hour, depending on traffic conditions.

10 AM - 11 AM

After arriving at the Museum of the Terracotta Warriors and Horses, you will first visit Pit 1. This is the main part of the terracotta army, with a grand scale and magnificent momentum. You will spend approximately 1.5 hours under the guidance of the tour guide, closely admiring thousands of lifelike terracotta figures. The guide will explain in detail the unique facial expressions, hairstyles, and clothing represented by each terracotta figure, as well as the layout and significance of the entire army formation.

11:30 AM - 1 PM

After visiting Pit 1, take a short break and head to the local restaurant for lunch. Here, you can taste local specialties such as "Rou Jia Mo" (Chinese hamburger) and "Liang Pi" (cold rice noodles) to replenish energy for the afternoon itinerary. Lunchtime is about 1.5 hours.

1 PM - 2:30 PM

Move on to Pit 2, although not fully excavated, the unearthed parts are enough to let you appreciate the diverse terracotta soldiers and the complex battle formations of the Qin army. Here, you will see terracotta figures of various types of soldiers such as cavalry, charioteers, and infantry, along with the weapons and equipment they were equipped with. The guide will spend around 1.5 hours interpreting the military secrets and historical value of Pit 2.

2:30 PM - 3:30 PM

Visit Pit 3, the command center of the entire army, though small in size, is of crucial importance. The guide will explain the rigorous military system and command structure of the Qin army represented by the high-ranking terracotta figures unearthed here, with a visit duration of about 1 hour.

3:30 PM - 5 PM

At the end of the tour, Transfer back to your hotel in Xi'an

No Touching The terracotta warriors are precious artifacts, and touching the terracotta figures and artifacts is strictly prohibited to preserve them. Please follow the museum's regulations and behave respectfully during the visit.

Rest Breaks: The one-day itinerary is quite packed, so remember to take adequate breaks and stay hydrated during the visit, especially in the hot summertime. Private tour guides will arrange comfortable rest areas for you.
